Controversial Syrian President Assad Rocks Out -- to LMFAO?

It appears that even controversial Middle Eastern leaders like to party rock. The British paper The Guardian obtained a cache of emails sent by Syrian President Bashar al-Assad last year, and it revealed that some of his iTunes purchases included several songs from LMFAO, including "Sexy and I Know It," as well as Chris Brown's "Look at Me Now."

Assad has been accused of committing violence against his own people, and the Syrian uprising has called for his resignation. World leaders, including President Obama, have also imposed sanctions on Assad. But while all this has been happening, Assad has also been, according to the Guardian, enjoying songs by everyone from not only LMFAO and Chris, but also Blake Shelton, Leona Lewis, '90s one-hit-wonders Right Said Fred and '80s New Wave rockers New Order.

Assad also appears to have purchased Steve Jobs' autobiography, as well as a Harry Potter movie.
